Emily La Tella

A character developed by the comic genius, Gilda Radner. Emily would make a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live and rant about something until one of the other characters would point out her exasperatingly stupid error. At which point, she would push back her glasses and say, "Nevermind."

Needlees to say, as a struggling Newbie, I can identify with the character. Radner's biography, It's Always Something, which includes her struggle with a fatal ovarian cancer, is a good read.
