Hi, I currently use a Twiki intranet system for my work and am happy with the results. I am interested in discussing and sharing ideas on the following:
TWiki Topics:
Online Desk Instructions - utilizing TWiki to create online training instructions for all Accounting/Finance tasks that can also be used to assist in training of new hires.
Network Drives - utilized TWiki to be mated with network drives to be used as the Top-Down GUI portal to access a variety of info stored in standard network drives.
Non-Twiki Topics:
Accounting Automation - evaluating how to automate certain accounting functions (i.e. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billings, etc).
SQL/MS Access - customized report building
Electronic Filing (E-Filing) - researching creating a complete paperless Accounting system using scanning technology to generate PDF's that in turn feed data into a database.
