Corporate Blog

I work on an article dealing with the use of blog technologies in virtual-team environment. Although, I mention Twiki in the article, currently, I would not suggest any existing blog technology for communication between company employees over the Internet, due to information security. (I know that many companies do use it behind the intranet firewalls, which is pretty secure, but doesn't work for us.) Instead, we started looking at adapting good-old e-mail for the purpose of blogging.

Nevertheless, I would welcome any comments from you, my visitors, on the subject of using proper blog technology for informal interaction in virtual corporate teams.
