What are the criterias? How to judge if a video is great or pure crap?

-- CarloSchulz - 08 Feb 2008

I don't think we really need criteria, apart from deciding who gets the free t-shirt or not. For that, i guess something along these lines would suffice:

  • There must be a relation to TWiki
  • It must be at least one minute of moving picture (not a single shot of the TWiki logo stretched for 5 minutes smile

My guess is we won't have that much of a problem with time wasters though. If we do have proper voting, time wasters won't have a chance of becoming 3rd, 2nd or 1st.

I would like plain introductory videos to TWiki usage. Nothing funny but something useful. smile

Has any video been submitted yet?

http://www.youtube.com/schick is strong competition, isn't it? wink

-- FranzJosefGigler - 07 Mar 2008

I do not see any. frown

Still no videos...

-- AddyYeow - 03 Apr 2008

Yep, still no videos - but the prize money is still there. First prize is $2,000 and there does not seem to be much competition right now.

The contest deadline is 14th - although if anyone expressed an interest in entering but had problems of time then I'm sure that the TDO marketing team/TWiki.net would be sympathetic to that.

You should use the money for something else ...

-- MartinSeibert - 08 Apr 2008

We will not extend the deadline and use the money for another contest, possibly for cool TWikiApplications. That is a media TWikiContributors are more familiar with.
