View results of searches in the time of the client browser

Whenever I do a search with a default summary, for example as in the 'detailed search' from the left menu bar, I see times that are not in my timezone.

I'd like to suggest that this be changed so that the times are displayed in the timezone of the client.

How to go about this? This is my suggestion:

  • In %MAINWEB%.%WIKUSERNAME% have a new per-user variabel that would over-ride the one in %TWIKIWEB%.TWikiPreferences

  • By default, the code in Search.pm makes use of this

  • For backward compatibility, if these settings are absent, use SERVERTIME or GMTTIME
