This was a much awaited release. Congrats to all! We can expect a lot more people trying out the 4.2.x series within the next weeks. Btw, shouldn't there be a security alert about Bugs:Item4824 that got fixed in 4.2.1?

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to get this update released. I've got it applied to my 4.2 installation and all went very well--even topics and CSS that we had customized were able to be maintained intact.
