When I save a drawing, the rendered gif has only a color spectrum from green to blue, red is missing (see below). The java applet shows the correct colors. If my colleague saves the drawing again, the colors of the gif are also correct. We both use IE5. Any ideas?

I reconfigured my graphics card's settings (16 bit colors, 85 Hz, 2048x768) and after that this weird effect has vanished. Up to now I have not been able to find a configuration to get the bug reproduced ...

This is a limitation of the GIF encoding library used. It works up to 16 bits.
