This request is made because I would like to check in my contribution package
WorkflowReportsContrib , an add-on to the
WorkflowPlugin.
Background
My current job is Projects and Operations Director with a small software company in Switzerland. Together with 15 IT and software engineers, we are responsible to deliver customized systems to our customers. The systems are used mainly for fully automated warehouses (high availability of up to 7/24 operations)
Four years ago one engineer proposed to use TWiki as a documentation system. Up to now we are using the system to capture the know how applied during systems building. Now we would like to go one step further and use it to document our processes/workflow (especially in the customer support area).
We started experimenting with the
WorkflowPlugin. Then we saw that we needed some reporting (something like the web statistics or mail notifier would be ok).
After reviewing the
MakeCtrlTopicsListAddOn,
WebStatistics module,
MailerContrib etc. we decided to do our own module. Because I am the one with some perl experience we (they :)) decided that I'm going to do it.
After some experimenting and getting familiar with Development in TWiki I found my way. Actually I do not have very much experience in perl programming. But I'm used to do my stuff according to 'Perl Best Practices' written by Damian Conway and published by O'Reilly Media Inc.
I know that as an add on contributor i do not need to check in my work into
SVN. But I felt it would be better to keep it together with TWiki.
Due to lack of time I do not have the intention to do core development. I will maintain my contribution if it is not going to find its way into another Contribution (
WorkflowPlugin would be a prime candidate) or the core distribution.

Due to my lack of real internet access, (we're moving, and then going to Zurich for a few months again) I've enabled your svn access now.
welcome Paul
