TWiki Licensing and Copyright FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions on Licensing

What kind of license is TWiki distributed with?

TWiki is OpenSource software and is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License. The GNU GPL governs the distribution of the software, not the use. For details see attached readme.txt and license.txt, taken from the TWikiRelease01Feb2003.

If you have any concerns about what you can and can't do with a program that is licensed under the GPL, you should visit the FSF's GPL FAQ.

Of particular relevance to data which is stored in a TWiki are the following sections: http://www.fsf.org/licensing/licenses/gpl-faq.html#GPLOutput and http://www.fsf.org/licensing/licenses/gpl-faq.html#IfInterpreterIsGPL
