Bug: Intermittent failure on TWiki.org

Test case

Just had an 'internal system error' on http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Support/RcsOnW2K, at 18:33 GMT - then again on BugReports page in Codev. However, this is intermittent, as reloading BugReports fixes the problem.

Environment

TWiki version: TWiki.org
TWiki plugins:
Server OS:
Web server:
Perl version:
Client OS: n/a
Web Browser:

Follow up

Most likely a server issue at SF. In the past we had intermittent 'internal system error' caused by some misconfigured servers in the loadbalanced server farm. Around that time we did not do any changes to the Perl scripts and the static HTML pages were fine.

Fix record

I close this for now, can be reopened in case it shows up again.

I had this again quite a lot recently - should I file a SourceForge support call?

I sent an e-mail to SF last Tuesday when it was really bad. They replied that they could not verify / that it worked when they checked. Feel free to file a support request when it happens again.

I noticed some SF problems again, causing inconsistent topic updates:

  • When I saved Plugins.SpreadSheetPlugin I got a server error message. I retried two times and succeeded. However, the topic revision did not get bumped up, it is still r1.15 - 13 Mar 2002 (overwriting the older version. In addition, the .changes entry was not done.

Please report any related problems here.
