1. Feature requests for Helsinki Release

• Desired outcome: Discuss and decide on pending feature request that need attention
• See TWikiFeatureProposals

• TWikiDocGraphicsInMainWeb - done (Peter)
• SessionManagement - might not be needed in trunk (Sopan)
• Unit tests:
  • No longer sent by e-mail (Sven stopped)
  • Install on develop.twiki.net (low prio), for now run unit tests locally before checkins
  • Many tests fail due to CRYPTTOKEN, unit tests need to be fixed
• Focus for 5.0 release as discussed in last release meeting:
  • Add 2 pugins to core (best ones TBD based in TWikiMission)
  • Update pattern skin with pulldown menus (possibly retiring the sidebar)
  • Add database backend (just for caching of meta data and key page elements (such as backlinks))
  • Redesigned user profile pages (with photos, tabbed interface)
  • Easier install and upgrade
  • Copy some useful features from related projects
• Idea for install/upgrade script:
  • Perl command line script that is run as root, aware of os
  • Initially only support redhat/centos, debian, ubuntu, later later add windows
