Who am I?

I'm an accomplished and results-oriented Information Systems Engineer with over 20 years of experience and demonstrated success in software development, QA testing, software deployment automation working in large corporate Information Technology departments.

What can I do?

I currently specialize in Software Baseline, Build, Process Management and Software Deployment Automation. For the past 8 years I've provided real workable process and automation implementations of proposed theoretical processes of commercial software configuration management (SCM) tools. I've served as a technical team leader for onshore and offshore SCM administrators during this time maintaining targeted service levels while providing 7/24 version control, software build, and deployment incident support. I'm technically proficient in XML, Ant build scripts, Perl workflow automation and utility scripts, Unix/Linux and Windows shell application deployment scripts.

Why do I want to do it?

I am motivation by the desire to learn how an open source community works at a practical level. All my professional career I've worked in huge corporate Information Technology departments. However I did get a chance to partner in a startup company for a couple of years back in 2006. Although that venture was not a financial success, it was a personal growth catalyst for for me. I'm hoping for some more of the same working with the TWiki.org project.

I'm targeted to work with Sopan Shewale learning the tasks and duties of the community release manager role per Peter Thoeny's direction.
