Motivation

Now that web have the TWikiVariablesWizard we can improve the editing experience by offering the wizard when editing TWiki pages. This helps people learn about the power features of TWiki.

Description and Documentation

1. The TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor gets a new "%V%" button that opens the wizard in a popup window. Once the variable is selected and parameters are added, the user clicks on the "Insert" button to insert the variable into the WYSIWYG text at the current caret location.

2. The raw editor gets a new "%V%" button that opens the wizard in a popup window. Once the variable is selected and parameters are added, the user clicks on the "Insert" button to insert the variable into the raw text at the current caret location.
