TWiki's value derives from persuading people to update pages. So to be more obvious the edit link should be right at the top of the page (as well as at the bottom). A simple change like this will make it more likely that people will add useful information.

Yes, I have done this for the
KoalaSkin, as well as putting also the various save & preview buttons both at top and at bottom

I have heard the original reason for putting Edit at the bottom of the page in many
WikiClones is that if a person hits Edit before the page is completely loaded, they don't see the full page in Edit mode either and contents are lost. To the best of my knowledge this is not possible with TWiki, but someone who knows the code should verify this.
BTW, it would be a good idea to put a link to this topic in

I've reclassified this as
FeatureNotSuitable in the interests of reducing the number of topics listed in
FeatureEnhancementRequest as there are many skins now with edit controls at the top.

Oddly, doesn't that actually make it an implemented feature? It was certainly deemed "suitable" by the skin developers!
