This occurred to me while I was thinking about searching all revisions of all topics for a regular expression. This is something I expect to remain in the FeatureBrainstorming category for at least a couple revisions yet, and I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up FeatureNotSuitable even then.

With those caveats out of the way--suppose you ask TWiki to do something that you know is going to take a lonnnnnnng time... and you don't want to wait around for the results. We might be able to add a kind of nohup attribute to tags that invoke a parametized process and dump the results into a file that either attaches on the user's home page, or is accessible through yet-another-tag.

Something to think about in the far future.
