Plugins that deserve it should be highlighted as stated in HighQualityPlugins.

We could implement something as simple as the Hot Script rating button seen e.g. on http://dynarch.com/mishoo/calendar.epl. We could vote for a "cool factor" of each Plugin. May be we need a new QuickVotePlugin, or may be the PollPlugin could be used for that.

The Plugins.PluginPackage could show: (not working mockup)

Very cool smile and we can use the same mechanism to help tell us what people would like to see done in the DakarRelease.

I like this a lot BUT we also need a consistent release numbering scheme for plugins, not just for this but for the mailer feedback discussion in CoffeeBreak (which should be moved to FeedbackMailer). Votes for release 1.0 of a plugin may not apply to release 0.9! Or is that what's in the ---?????--- box?

I mainly just want to put in a word of encouragement for installing PollPlugin to encourage more user feedback on this and other development matters such as CrawfordCurrie mentions above or VoteForYourFavoriteFeatureEnhancementRequest.
