CoEdit (alpha) is an IRC client connection of wiki users. It allows two or more people to browse the web and edit the same wiki page. It mix IRC with a browser window that allows people at remote locations to browse the same page, and scroll a common view of the page. Cursors representing the mouse location of each IRC user are shown in the view window.
The connection into wiki allow group composition and edit of web content. Clipboard mark, cut-paste support gives the user a way to control wiki content, created from the IRC chat session. The control of wiki preview and save can also be broadcast across IRC, so the wiki preview mode can be sent to a IRC user.
Mozilla currently is not supported, Mozilla support of embedded webpage(back-end for
CoEdit) can be seen at:

WikiClient also supports the Google interface and other web service interfaces in
XslWiki.
Chatzilla interface will be included on this page to support IRC
CoEdit.
To run
CoEdit in IE, you must install files. If you install the ocx & dll from the first page, the linked page has the IRC session build directly into it. currently all users join the same IRC channel.
Scrolling of a common wiki page can be locked between users.
Cursors move around the page with a tooltip type display of last comment.

Source file install directions:
1. Copy the ActiveX components: msxml4.dll, CSWSK32.OCX and EsResolve32.ocx, to your system directory. c:/windows/system32.
2. Start and DOS prompt and Run the windows command "regsvr32 CSWSK32.OCX".
3. Run the windows command "regsvr32 EsResolve32.ocx".
4. Run the windows command "regsvr32 msxml4.dll". For more information on the

5. If you received the message "DLL Registered Successfully" for each, you are ready to use
CoEdit(alpha), close the DOS prompt.
6. Go to
http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Sandbox/CoEdit?rev=1.20 for the IRC page, the window is then resized.
7. Internet Explorer security setting must allow access to the
ActiveX . go to Tools/Internet Options, select security tab, select custom settings, all
ActiveX settings should be set to Enable or Prompt.
8. Click on the IRC button, a new interface shows up, the click on the Connect button. If you get a connect error, try reconnect by hitting same button.
The control set will connect you to IRC on #aibot channel
the IRC is jisIRC, so it has a lot of documentation.
jisIRC has a dcc interface that pop's up a directory object in windows.
