Backpack

Here's the lastest entry into the rapidly accelerating field of hosted wiki-information-managers. Similar to JotSpot, BackPack offers very easy-to-use wiki-like tools. Their "manifesto" includes some interesting reflections on usability of wiki-like tools and this pretty good one-liner: "a wiki with out the wacky."

My initial perusal of Backpack (they have a free account option) gave me a number of ideas about inproving wiki-usability for new users merely by simplifying things.
