Feature Proposal: Allow URL Parameters in a double bracket link

Motivation

I had the need to make a link to a specific revision of a page. I tried using [[FooBar?rev=3][whatever]] and it didn't work.

Description and Documentation

I think there may be benefit to being able to specify URL parameters after the URL in a double-bracket link.

Discussion

Would a more generic solution be to have the URL "recognizer" or parser handle this instead? That way, perhaps a plain-text URL with parameters would also work. Hmmm, this would have to be "in addition to"...

This is a duplicate of AllowUrlParamsInBracketNotation, handled there.
